The white noise - new wonders of the snowshoe is a comedy from director Arnold Fanck Leni Riefenstahl in the lead role.

Action

The film is about the young girl Leni who wants to participate during the winter holidays at the Arlberg at a ski race. You can teach yourself to ski from the ski instructor Hannes, Hannes Schneider. The two Hamburg carpenters Tietje and Fietje, Walter Riml and Gustav Lantschner want to win the race as well, the skiing itself but bring in self-taught. The two groups meet each other again and again. Ultimately Leni wins the race the novice using the small Lothar, played by Lothar Ebersberg.

The next year, all parties are back together and take part in a fox hunt in part, represent the fox pair in the Leni and Hannes. Due to the clumsiness of the two Hamburg succeed the pair to escape again and again. Only the small Lothar can both make in the end.

Movie review

The lexicon of international film is excited by the landscape and Skiaufnahmen am Arlberg, but notes: The thin plot is just hanging on the representation of skiing with the best skiers of the time.

Precursor

The film "The White Noise - New wonders of the snowshoe " was the third film version of the theme. "The Miracle of the snowshoe " - Part 1 premiered in 1920. The second part followed in 1922. In all three films Hannes Schneider was the ski star and all three films were produced by Arnold Fanck.
