Derek Drymon
Derek Drymon (born 1965 in Jefferson, New Jersey ) is an American film director, film producer and screenwriter.
Life
After finishing school in 1987 graduated Drymon at the New York School of Visual Arts training as an illustrator. He then worked as an animator for Disney, before he moved to California to work at the television station Nickelodeon.

In 1993 he worked on Rocko's Modern Life, where he met Tim Hill and Stephen Hillenburg know. For his work on the episode doggone series Catdog he was nominated for an Annie Award. From 1999 to 2004 Drymon worked as Creative Director for Hill Burg's hit series SpongeBob SquarePants, and was nominated for an Emmy for each of 2003 and 2004. He was also producer of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie for which he was heading some songs for the soundtrack. From 1996 he worked on the storyboards for Hey Arnold!.
