Derek Rae

Derek Rae (* in Aberdeen) is a Scottish football presenter. He stands at ESPN under contract, for whom he works as a game commentator for the Champions League broadcasts. He is also a "host" of the broadcast ESPNsoccernet PressPass.

Career

Rae's career began at age 15 when he worked as a football commentator for a radio station that aired in local hospitals. At 19, as the spokesman David Francey suffered a knee injury, he got the chance for him at a radio broadcast of the Scottish Premier League to step in.
