Des'ree

Des'ree ( born November 30, 1968 in London as Desiree Annette Weeks ) is a British singer.

Des'ree was one of the most successful British female singers of the soul-pop in the 1990s. Their debut album, Mind Adventures was released in 1992 and contained the hit single Feel So High. In 1993 she published, together with Terence Trent D' Arby Delicate duet.

Her second album I Is not Movin ' (1994 ) contained the single You Gotta Be, which was also placed in the top 5 of the Billboard charts. The Single Life from the album Supernatural ( 1998) was a pan-European top 10 success and the biggest success of Des'ree in Germany. The album contained with Fire also a duet with Babyface. Their fourth album Dream Soldier was a commercial flop; it reached no placement in the German album charts.

In 1999, she won a BRIT Award for Best British Female Solo Artist. In 2007, the text of their songs Life was voted by the listeners of the BBC radio station 6 Music for the worst lyrics of all time.
