DeSean William Jackson ( born December 1, 1986 in Long Beach, California) is an American professional American football player who. Upon the position of Wide Receiver He plays for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League ( NFL).

Career

High School

Jackson attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School. In 2004 he won the Glenn Davis Award from the Los Angeles Times as Southern California's player of the year. He also played baseball and was scouted in his senior year by both the Tampa Bay Rays and the Philadelphia Phillies, but opted for American football.

Jackson began in his senior year 60 passes for 1075 yards and 15 touchdowns space gain, and thus led the Jackrabbits to the CIF Southern Section Championship ( Southern California Championship).

At the conclusion of his high school career Jackson ( MVP ) of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, was elected Texas in San Antonio, the Most Valuable Player. In the game he caught seven passes for 141 yards, including a 45 - yard touchdown. After his high school career, he went to the University of California.

College

College Football Jackson played at the University of California at Berkeley. In his first game for the Golden Bears, against Sacramento State in 2005, Jackson scored both an offense touchdown, as well as a special teams touchdown. Overall, he scored in his first season 601 yards space thanks to 38 caught passes and seven touchdowns. In the Las Vegas Bowl against Brigham Young University, Jackson caught passes for 130 yards and scored two touchdowns.
