Deutsche Medizinische Wochenschrift

The German Medizinische Wochenschrift ( Abbr: DMW ) ISSN 0012-0472 is a German medical journal. There are free full text in the current issue and some audio posts.

It was founded in 1875 by Dr. Paul Börner ( 1829-1885 ) and edited, the medical officer Dr. Samuel Guttmann ( 1839-1895 ) was followed as editor. Until 1886, it was published by Georg Reimer. It is published as an organ of the German Society of Internal Medicine and the Society of German Natural Scientists and Physicians from Georg Thieme Verlag.

The print edition of the DMW is 2008 11.000 copies, 9,400 of which are common. The DMW is published in 46 issues per year .. It offers CME - certified training. Says that it is "Germany's most widely read journal for internists ". There are special issues of the most important congresses and issues of internal medicine.
