The German Journalists Association ( DJV ) - Union of Journalists eV is the largest journalists' organization in Europe, with headquarters in Berlin. It has around 38,000 members. Self-presentation and activities

History

The club was founded in Berlin in 1949.

On November 24, 1971, the Charter of Munich was adopted. It lists ten journalistic duties and five rights.

The DJV has its seat since 2005 in Berlin. He has the number of members against the general trend since 1988 has more than doubled. In recent years it has declined again by his own admission.

Organization

Services
