Deutsches Brauereimuseum

The German Brewery Museum was founded in 1952 on the initiative of the Hofbräuhaus in Munich and was the most famous museum of its kind in Germany. Exhibition focus was the historical and technical development of the beer brewing industry. Oldest exhibit was a drinking vessel from the 4th millennium BC. Furthermore, were - besides tankards and beer glasses - models of large-scale brewing equipment and a complete microbrewery to see.
