Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss

Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss ( born October 8, 1947 in Ammapet, Tamil Nadu, India) is Bishop of Tanjore.

Life

Devadass Ambrose Mariadoss received on 5 August 1974, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On June 28, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Tanjore. The Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, Duraisamy Simon Cardinal Lourdusamy, donated to him on 24 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Pondicherry and Cuddalore, Michael Augustine, and the Bishop Emeritus of Tanjore, Packiam Arokiaswamy.
