DeVante Swing

DeVante Swing ( * September 24, 1969 in Hampton, Virginia; DeGrate whose real name is Donald Jr.) is an American record producer, songwriter and R & B singer and member of the band Jodeci.

Career

With 16 DeGrate already took on songs with K-Ci and JoJo, emerged from a total of 29 demo tapes. This sent the trio to different record label and soon came a response from Heavy D and the first chairman of the label Uptown Records. The group under the name " Jodeci " now got a contract.

DeGrate produced almost all of the tracks on the three albums by Jodeci and in 1992 founded the Swing Mob, a group tour musician and newcomers, who stood with his Swing Mob subsidiary of Elektra Records. Meanwhile, he participated in productions for Tupac Shakur. With it, for example, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Playa and Magoo became famous.
