DeVante Swing

DeVante Swing ( * September 24, 1969 in Hampton, Virginia; DeGrate whose real name is Donald Jr.) is an American record producer, songwriter and R & B singer and member of the band Jodeci.

Career

With 16 DeGrate already took on songs with K-Ci and JoJo, emerged from a total of 29 demo tapes. This sent the trio to different record label and soon came a response from Heavy D and the first chairman of the label Uptown Records. The group under the name " Jodeci " now got a contract.

DeGrate produced almost all of the tracks on the three albums by Jodeci and in 1992 founded the Swing Mob, a group tour musician and newcomers, who stood with his Swing Mob subsidiary of Elektra Records.
