Deventer–Almelo railway

The railway line Deventer - Almelo is a railway line between Deventer and Almelo in the Netherlands. The railway is an important freight link between Randstad and Germany as well as a busy railway line for passenger transport. The distance is about 38 kilometers.

History

The line was opened on September 1, 1888, the Dutch railway company KNLS. The electrification took place in 1951. The top speed is 130 km / h
