Dexter Langen

Dexter Lamar Langen ( born December 16, 1980 in Friedberg ) is a former German football player who was used at right-back and side of midfield.

Life

Youth

Dexter Langen was born in Friedberg, Hesse, the son of the German Renate Langen and an American officer named McKenzey.

For football games, he was seven years old when took him schoolmates. Up to the age of 16 Long played at TSV Langgoens; after which he spent a year with VfB Gießen. Another year later, in 1997, he moved to 16 -year-old Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he got homesick for his own words and therefore after a year joined the Kickers Offenbach returned to Hesse. Professional career

In December 1999, Long left the Kickers Offenbach, to which he had come in 1998, and moved to his former club VfB Gießen. In the first year after the climb, which ended his club after a world characterized by relegation season as a table of eight, Langen came to 22 games with a goal. In the following season 2005/ 06 he scored two goals in 31 games, but could not prevent the descent of the 1st FC Dynamo in the Regionalliga Nord.

In May 2006, before Dresden's subsequent descent was clear in the Regional, Long signed a contract with FC Hansa Rostock, which he joined on a free transfer season. 2007 Long rose to Rostock in the Bundesliga, had to accept the prompt return down there, however. After Rostock had fallen in the first round of the 2008 /09 and in the second division in danger of relegation, Langen was canceled for the winter break by coach Dieter Eilts as one of four players from the squad of the Baltic Sea dwellers. However, since he initially did not find a new club, he should first attend the training operation of Rostock reserve team. After Andreas Zachhuber Eilts had replaced in March 2009 as a coach, Langen's suspension, however, was repealed by this, so he still contributed with an insert 28 on matchday for the Hanseatic league. In the following season 2009/10 Long then played again in the Rostock strain formation, before it failed due to an injury from the tenth game day and could be used only from the 26th Round again in a relegation battle. Nevertheless, for the first time Hansa rose in the club's history from the 3rd league, whereupon Langen initially harbored ambitions for a change of club. However, he remained in Rostock and was planned by new coach Peter Vollmann as the designated service providers of the newly formed team, but withdrew already on Matchday a torn ACL, so that it turned the rest of the season 2010/11. Without Langen's participation, the team reached then the direct promotion back to the Bundesliga 2 and also won the National Cup Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the second division season 2011/12 Long came only six missions in the first team, which eventually had to accept straight back down to the third division, and also completed six more games for Hansas reserve team in the Oberliga. Coaching career

For the 2012/13 season Long was an assistant coach under management by Karsten Wenzlawski O youth of the FSV Bentwisch.
