Dezső Földes

Dezso Foldes ( born December 30, 1880 in Miskolc, Hungary, † March 27, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio) was a Hungarian saber fencer and two-time Olympic champion.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he won the Hungarian team the gold medal in saber fencing. Four years later, at the Games in Stockholm, he was able to defend it. The best classification in an individual event, he reached with his sword in Stockholm 8th place

Foldes moved in 1912 to the United States and opened a clinic for the poor in Cleveland, Ohio.
