The Cooperative State University Baden -Württemberg Mosbach ( Baden Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University English Mosbach ) is a location of the Duale Hochschule Baden- Württemberg.

History

The Mosbach University of Cooperative was established in 1980 and started its operations with 18 students of the Department of Industry on. Since 1985, the University of Cooperative Education Mosbach is one of the sites of the University of Cooperative Education Baden- Württemberg. Quality management of the University of Cooperative Education Mosbach was certified in 2001 as the first public institution of higher education in the Federal Republic of Germany in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. In 2002 a branch was opened in Bad Mergentheim and in 2010 another branch office in Heilbronn. Since March 1, 2009, it is part of the newly founded Duale Hochschule Baden- Württemberg.

Study

The Cooperative State University Baden -Württemberg Mosbach offers a dual degree, which consists of academic studies and a practical part, which takes place in an external operation. The theory and practical phases change in the rhythm of three months. Candidates include a three-year training contract with the operation, in which half of the training takes place. The students are also employees of their company and received during the entire course of a monthly allowance. Participate in it are currently more than 1100 training companies. After the end of the course, students receive a bachelor's degree.

The Cooperative State University Baden -Württemberg Mosbach in addition to its main campus in Mosbach two more branches in Bad Mergentheim and in Heilbronn. In the castle of Bad Mergentheim the business courses in International Business, Health Management and Food Management are taught.

In the opened for the winter semester 2010 branch office in Heilbronn, Service Management and consumer goods trade are taught.

The college has its own account 3,286 students, more than 200 employees, including 70 professors. There are also around 900 part-time lecturers from industry and other universities.
