Dhori Kule

Dhori Kule ( born February 17, 1957) is an Albanian Professor of Economics and Rector of the University of Tirana.

In 1981 he graduated in economics at the University of Tirana with a diploma. He then worked in Kuçova and taught the way economics in Berat. After three years he was admitted to the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana as a lecturer, where he works to this day. International experience he gained through study in Italy (1992 ), Poland ( 1993), United States ( 1994 ), England ( 1995 ) and Greece ( 1996). From 1997-2007 he was Dean of the Faculty of Economics, interrupted only by a period of study in Germany (2000-2002). Since January 2008 Dhori Kule is Rector of the University of Tirana.

Dhori Kule is Board member of the network of Balkan universities.

Kule was co-author of several textbooks on economics. His recent writings deal primarily with the effects of political transition and social change such as emigration to the Albanian economy and other macroeconomic issues.
