Diana Chelaru

Diana Maria Chelaru ( born August 15, 1993 Onesti, Bacau county ) is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast.

Career

In 2005 she came to the Junior National Team, where she trained with the coaches Aurica Nistor, Lacramioara Moldovan, Cristian Moldovan, Carmen Bogasiu, Ingrid Istrate and Daniel Nistor.

The Gymnastics European Championships 2009 they had as Senior, where she reached the 14th place their debut in the finals. In the same year she was at the Glasgow Grand Prix at the bottom sixth, seventh, and eighth on the uneven bars during the jump. Her first participation in a World Cup was also at the 2009 World Gymnastics Championships in London. Here she was 15th in the floor and jump final.

At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London she reached the bronze medal behind the Olympic champions from the United States and Russia in the team competition with the Romanian group of women.
