Diana King

Diana King ( born November 8, 1970 in Spanish Town, Jamaica ) is a Jamaican singer.

Life

Diana King has been named one of 15 children in Spanish Town, near Kingston, was born and grew up in the Hope Road in Kingston in the neighborhood of reggae legend Bob Marley. As a friend of Cedella and Sharon Marley, she was a regular guest in the house of Marley and so came at a very young age with the music business in touch. After her contribution to Stir it Up the record label Sony was aware of the singer with the distinctive voice and took them under contract.

With " Shy Guy ", known from the soundtrack to the movie Bad Boys, they first came into the international charts. Later she landed with her cover version of I Say a Little Prayer, The Soundtrack in My Best Friends Wedding, again a hit. 1997 reached their album " Think Like a Girl" in the Top Reggae Albums Charts by Billboard number 1
