Dianne Fromholtz
From Dianne Holtz Trat Bales ( born August 10, 1956 in Albury, New South Wales ) is a former Australian tennis player.
Career
Bales Trat began playing at the age of seven years of tennis. At 16 she left school to take part in international tournaments, began in 1973 and their professional career on the WTA Tour. In January 1977 she made it to the final of the Australian Open, losing to Kerry Reid with 2:6, 5:7. Bales Trat reached in 1979 and 1980 respectively the semi-finals of the French Open and 1976 U.S. Open. Her biggest success was the victory in the women's doubles in 1977 at the Australian Open, which she won with her doubles partner Helen Gourlay. They defeated in the final Betsy Nagelsen and Kerry Reid in three sets 5:7, 6:1, 7:5. In 1974 Dianne Bales Trat with the Australian Fed Cup team against the United States the team competition.
