Dias Keneshev

Dias Erikulowitsch Keneschew ( Kazakh Cyrillic Диас Ерикулович Кенешев; born March 31, 1985 in Urdschar in East Kazakhstan region ) is a Kazakh biathlete.

Dias Keneschew was initially successful as a national cross-country skiers. He attended in Urdschar youth sports school of Olympic reserve, then he moved to a sports boarding in Ridder. He won the title at the ostkasachischen championships and was medalist Kazakhstan's Championships in the long run. The athlete began a sports studies at the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism in Almaty and has since operated both summer as well as winter biathlon. In the summer biathlon he is active mainly in the style cross-country running. In his first World Championships in 2007 in Otepaeae he reached no particular success. Best result was a 21 in the Sprint, in pursuit, he retired from lapped. A year later he won in Haute Maurienne in Cross Country silver in the sprint behind Alexei Katrenko and bronze behind Katrenko and Sergey Balandin in pursuit.
