Dibenzodioxin is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound, which consists of a 1,4- dioxin with two fused benzene rings. The exact chemical name is dibenzo -p-dioxin, because in addition to this also exists the isomeric dibenzo -o -dioxin. Dibenzodioxin is an aromatic ether. Its sulfur analogue is the thianthrene.

Polyhalogenated derivatives are well known as dioxins.
