The Dick's Sporting Goods Park is a football stadium, which, Colorado is located in Commerce City. There, the home games of the U.S. Major League Soccer team Colorado Rapids will be played. The stadium has 18,086 seats and can be expanded at will for up to 26,000 spectators. Overall, the DSG park area covers an area of 1.5 km ².

On the grounds are still a total of 24 additional seats, two of which are covered with artificial turf. All seats are illuminated. The first game took place on 4 April 2007 and was discharged from players of the Colorado Rapids. This game was only for officials of the city and season ticket holders. The first official game was played against DC United on April 7, 2007.

In addition to the Rapids wearing Dick's Sporting Goods Park Denver Barbarians Rugby Football Club its home games. In the 2009/2010 season of DSG Park was also home for Denver Dream, which played in the Legends Football League.

Location

The stadium is located near the former main airport of Denver, the Stapleton International Airport. In the north and east it borders on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. In the south, 56th Avenue to the west and runs the Quebec Street.

2009, the final of the Churchill Cup was played in the stadium. In May 2009, the park was the site of the championship games of the Men 's Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
