Dick Briel

Dick Briel ( born December 29, 1950 in Leiden, † 26 September 2011 in Rijswijk ) was a Dutch comic artist.

Life

Born in 1950 in Leiden, located Briel turned to the comic medium after studying art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. According to his model, he Hergé drew a few pages on the style of the Ligne claire and applied so that the comic magazine Eppo. He immediately got the order to draw a lone long history, and as the early 1980s, was the figure of Professor Palm boom. In Germany the three adventures are published by Carlsen and Arboris.

On September 26, 2011 Dick Briel died at the age of 60 years to cancer.
