Dick Crealy

Dick Crealy ( born September 18, 1944 in Sydney ) is an Australian former tennis player. He won in his career two singles titles and six doubles.

In 1968 he won with the U.S. tennis legend Billie Jean King, the mixed doubles of the Australian Tennis Championships against Margaret Smith Court and Allan Stone after this tasks. In the men's doubles Crealy and Stone were victorious against their compatriots Terry Addison and Ray Keldie in three sets with 10:8, 6:4 and 6:3.

In 1970 he made the move into the final of the Australian Open in singles against the American Arthur Ashe, losing to him in three sets 4:6, 7:9 and 2:6. In the Swedish Open ( Bastad ) of the year 1970, he won the individual in three sets 6:3, 6:1 and 6:1 against Frenchman Georges Goven and doubles along with Stone against the Yugoslavs Željko Franulović and the Czech Jan Kodeš according to their task.

The doubles competition of the French Open in 1974 won Crealy with the New Zealanders Onny Parun against the American Stan Smith and Bob Lutz in five sets 6:3, 6:2, 3:6, 5:7 and 6:1.

Tournament Win

Between 1968 and 1975 Crealy won a total of eight tournaments, including two in singles and six tournaments in doubles.
