History

At the beginning Dico si Ţigănaş have worked and planned for small private entrepreneurs. The big breakthrough of the architectural firm came in 2000 with the first order for the British Contractors Mivan - Kier. This order brought a significant development of the office behind. The project task was to design social housing systems for 30 locations in 27 Romanian cities, with a total area of ​​180,300 m². More collaboration led to new and larger projects, such as: Liberty Center Mall Bucharest, New Town condominium with 630 apartments Bucharest and shopping centers in seven major cities in Romania. In early 2009, the contractor went bankrupt. At the time only, the following projects were executed: Liberty Center, New Town residential complex and one of the malls, Tiago Mall Oradea. Among the other important projects is the Bosch Rexroth factory, office building for the mountain brewery in Blaj, Olimpia Business Center and several apartment buildings in Cluj- Napoca ( Cluj ). The latest and best-known projects are the expansion of the football stadium CFR1907 ( Dr. Constantin Rădulescu Stadium ), the development of new Cluj Arena ( ~ 30,000 seats) and the new sports hall (~ 7,000 seats ) in Cluj-Napoca.
