The Lugners is an Austrian reality soap along the lines of The Osbournes, which is broadcast on the Austrian private television broadcaster ATV. After " The Lugners " was broadcast as part of Boulevard magazine check it in September 2002 was an independent series whose first episode was transmitted in 2003.
Content
The program describes the everyday life of the contractor Richard liar (nickname mortar) and his family. At current events such as the Vienna Opera Ball or Life Ball, the show will be broadcast on the following Friday. Guest appearances had, among other things Geri Halliwell, Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton, Gery Keszler, Dieter Bohlen and the Vienna society lady Jeannine Schiller.
Mortar seeks happiness
After the divorce of Richard and Christina liar in the summer of 2007, a final season even aired on ATV in this lineup. Since the end of the series would probably means profits for the private stations, it was decided to produce a new format in which Richard liar find a new wife for his happiness. The Lugners - Mortar seeks happiness was broadcast from September 2007 and could even outdo the odds of previous seasons partially.
In each episode liar attended an astrologer and asked them cheap selection name and zodiac sign of his potential dream women. Then he read through the applications for the program and invited four women who had applied to be one with each and led a conversation. Then he had to decide for two, with whom he then traveled to a foreign city for a weekend. After the two days he had to choose one of the two ladies. The woman, his "heart conquered ," was made to his failure in the travel city, for example in the Miss Budapest Budapest. Towards the end of the 12 episodes long season chose liar from the 6 Missen two finalists, with whom he spent a holiday in Kenya, after which he has in the last episode for the winner ( Bettina Kofler ) decided that accompanied him to the Opera Ball 2008.

In the fall of 2008, the 9th season of Lugners has been sent. Topics included Richard Lugners life with Bettina Kofler, the winner of mortar seeks happiness, a mass camping trip to Croatia with fans who have applied on ATV, as well as liar and Kofler in historical costumes and actions. In November 2008, two episodes was sent, in which liar and Kofler with some fans made holidays in Turkey and it came to separate the two. Since sequences are shown at irregular intervals, in which liar is shown among others the holiday and at the Opera Ball.
