Die Reihe

The music magazine, the series was a publication on the subject of serial music, which was published in the years 1955 to 1962 by Herbert Eimert with the collaboration of Karlheinz Stockhausen in the publishing house Universal Edition Vienna. The title refers to the twelve-tone row, which is the constituent element of the twelve-tone music. She was a forum for the music-theoretical discourse for new music in the aftermath of the Second Viennese School, where renowned composers expressed themselves. (: Pennsylvania Bryn Mawr ) was transferred to an English edition of the German original titles a total of eight books, the 1958-1968 and the publisher Theodore Presser Company published. There was also a book series books of the series, which seems to be but did not get beyond an issue.
