The show with the elephant ( subtitle: Laughing and factual stories for television beginners ) since the September 10, 2007 an offshoot of the program with the mouse. An episode lasts about 25 minutes. By sending Tanja Mairhofer and Andre Gatzke lead.

In order to meet the needs, interests and level of development of preschool children meet, the program has been developed with the elephant, which is specifically aimed at three- to six- year-old. The laughter and factual stories for television beginners are very mouse - tradition. Individual episodes in English to introduce the young audience to a new language.

The show will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at 07:25 clock in KiKA. Aired have been over 200 episodes and a special episode at Easter and two for Christmas.

Since March 2010 KiKA has begun to radiate newly produced episodes, starting with episode 146 on March 22, 2010 and for the time being last episode 165 on 16 July 2010. Since 19 July 2010, old episodes will be aired again.

• Robert Metcalf sings children's songs and accompanies herself on the guitar.

Elefantastic

In 2009, the offshoot Elefantastic started with twelve episodes. This ten-minute laughter stories for television beginners are shown in the elephant cinema. 2010 was followed by 30 additional episodes of the series, in 2011 the program was continued with 30 additional episodes.
