Dieter Weichert

Dieter Weichert ( born March 5, 1948 in Hirschberg ) is a German mechanical engineer and professor at the RWTH Aachen. He was until the summer of 2013, the head of the Institute of Mechanics (IAM ), specializing since 1995 in solid mechanics and polymer rheology.
