Dietmar Erler

Dietmar Erler ( born April 7, 1947) is a former German football player.

A native of the youth of Spruce Bielefeld Erler began his higher class career at Arminia Bielefeld in the Regionalliga West, where he worked until 1968 for Arminia played 66 games in 1966, scoring 21 goals. In 1968 he moved to Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. After two years, in which he scored two goals in 18 games, he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig, for which he was to play the next eleven years.

In the third season Erler in Braunschweig Eintracht rose from the Regionalliga Nord, but after only a year, she returned to the Bundesliga. Erler played 236 times for Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga and met 39 times the gate. The best result was the third place 1977. 1980 rose from Braunschweig to the 2nd Bundesliga, Erler was there only once used, before he ended his career. 1971 Erler was convicted in the wake of the discovery of the Bundesliga scandal to a fine in the amount of DM 4400.
