Digital anthropology

Cyberanthropology is a recent research direction and sub-discipline of social anthropology or ethnology, examines the transnational composite online communities, taking into account cybernetic perspectives, and generally focuses on the human experience with technologies.

In German-speaking ethnologist Alexander Knorr (1952 *) employed in connection to Arturo Escobar with the opening up of cyberspace as a field of research for ethnology.
