Dihydrothymin is a heterocyclic organic compound with a hydrogenated Pyrimidingrundgerüst. It is a derivative of the nucleobase thymine. It is a base analog, and a degradation product of thymine.

Thymine is hydrogenated by the dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase to Dihydrothymin.
