Dilated Peoples

Dilated Peoples is a hip hop group founded in 1992 in Los Angeles, USA. It consists of Evidence, which acts as a rapper and producer, rapper Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu, who is also a member of the Beat Junkies. They are mainly in the underground hip hop known notoriety in the mainstream but there was to the song " This Way", a collaboration with Kanye West, hardly.

In 1992, she recorded the album " Imagery, Battle Hymns & Political Poetry", which has been but never published regularly and can be found only as a bootleg. In 2000 they released the album The Platform after they signed a contract with Capitol Records. The following year, an expansion team was brought out that the song produced by Alchemist, "Worst Comes to Worst" included. Their third album, Neighborhood Watch was released in 2004 and included the two singles " This Way ," with Kanye West and "Who's Who ", which among other things in the " Need for Speed: Underground" was heard soundtrack. Her current album 20/20 was released in 2006 and included, among other things, the single " Back Again ", which was produced by The Alchemist and also in the soundtrack to the video game " Fight Night Round 3" was heard. The name of Dilated Peoples ( in German " advanced nations / people " ) comes from the fact that their name to just " Dilated Pupils " ( dilated pupils ) was, but what they had to drop due to a dispute over the copyright of the name.
