Dillon (singer)

Dillon (* 1988 in Brazil, civil Dominique Dillon de Byington ) is a Brazilian singer and pianist who works in Germany.

Life and Music

At the age of four years, Dillon moved with her mother from Brazil to Cologne, where they at an English school completed her secondary schooling in 2007. In the same year she first took on its own song, which she published on the internet. Their first single was released in January 2008 on the label Kitty -Yo. She then went in the opening act of the band Jolly Goods for the first time on tour in Germany. Since 2008 she lives in Berlin.

Although Dillon's recordings were rated by critics overwhelmingly positive, she decided first to study photography. In 2011, finally, their debut album This Silence Kills was released by the Techno label BPitch Control, which was produced by Tamer Fahri Özgenenc and Thies Mynther. Then she went again on tour in Germany.

This Silence Kills garnered mostly positive reviews. Dillon's vocals were thereby partially compared by critics to that of Björk and Lykke Li.

Their second album, The Unknown was released in March 2014.
