Dirisoft

The French research network Réseau Dirisoft investigated the possibilities of airships in the field of heavy goods transport and thus use as a transport airship. He was normal on 23 March 2007 in the École Supérieure de Cachan in Paris, with the support of the Directorate of Research and Innovation MEEDAT ( the Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning ) was founded. The studies carried out and the structure of the network Réseau Dirisoft based on market research and developed accordingly. The network is a partner of the company PEGASE, ASTECH and Swstem @ tic.

Possibilities for action

  • Organization of conferences, workshops, seminars, training sessions, working groups of scientific and socio-cultural thinking, as well as sporting events and competitions of the airships.
  • Management of research contracts, including the financing and recruitment of doctoral and post - doctoral
  • Marketing of the airship " Vector" in the public, policy makers and socio-economic media
  • Management of research centers, integration and flight testing of experimental airships
  • Publication of books and periodicals in the field of the topic " airships " and hosting of academic publications and websites
  • Implementation and testing of research prototypes
  • Acquisition, maintenance, replacement and provision of test equipment and experiments that can be used by members of the association.
  • The organization may enter into agreements with governments, quasi-government and private partners.

The network

Motivation

Although France has a glorious past in terms of " airships ", but not (or rather not ) the associated culture. The airship is seen as a complementary approach to other technological possibilities. All the resources and efforts that have been invested in the development of new generations of air ships, led only to mediocre results. Several countries are currently involved in the research of airships, including France, Germany, Great Britain, the U.S., Russia and China.

Task fields

  • The merger of French research institutions participating in the research projects on the new generation of airships.
  • The definition of a coordinated policy of scientific research on airships.
  • The availability of scientific communities with academic cluster, and research institutions, governments, partners and other foreign networks.
  • The management and the promotion of integration and research center.
  • The initiation of a curriculum for training in a new, industrial and economic sector.
  • Involvement in the promotion of the vector " airship".

Research results

MC 4

The MC4 is a " bourget Exposition du " in 2009 on the Paris-born idea. It is a motorized balloon of 4 m length and 4 m ^ 3 volume, equipped with a camera in the lounge of the exhibition floated around. The motor is mounted on a plate behind the balloon. The direction control is provided by the alignment of the two axes of the engine. This balloon can, thanks to its powerful engine and the batteries even fly out and submit their videos directly.

MC 25

The MC 25 is the result of collaboration between LCPC Heudiazic IBISC and Hervé Kuhlmann. With this model, a work of art in urban and suburban areas was created. Due to the ultra-fast orientation of its engine and the sensors 9 to 16, each equipped with 15 megapixels, it is able to detect cracks up to a tenth of a millimeter. This project received a grant from the DRI, an application for ANR is submitted.

MC 500

The MC 500 is a reduced version of the model " balloon Paris région ". It is intended solely for the use of network researchers.

Balloon Paris Région

The balloon Paris region is intended for noise and emissions -free control of the Paris air space. It replaces the helicopter on routes from short distances and can carry sensors for monitoring purposes, weighing up to 300 kg. Possible tasks include the monitoring of the quality of thermal insulation of buildings, traffic monitoring, pollution control, detection of air pollutants and aerial photographs.
