Dirk Drescher ( born February 28, 1968) is a former German football goalkeeper.

Bundesliga use

On the first day of the 1985/86 season the former youth player of VfL Bochum sat in the away match against 1.FC Nuremberg as a substitute goalkeeper on the bench. Since the number 1 of the VfL ​​, Ralf Zumdick, had injured before the start of the season, Mark Croonen was in the starting lineup. After 25 minutes of play Croonen got the score at 0-0 the red card. Then Drescher was substituted for Stefan Kuntz. The high school student did not concede; Bochum won the game 1-0.
