Dirk Krüssenberg

Dirk Krüssenberg ( born September 29, 1945) is a former German football goalkeeper.

Career

Association

Dirk Krüssenberg debuted in the season season 1964/65 for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the then second-rate Regionalliga West. The following season, he took over from the previous Düsseldorf goalkeeper Albert Goertz. Krüssenberg was with the Fortuna this season season champion and rose through the group victory in Group 1 the promotion round in the Bundesliga. Then he succeeded in his only Bundesliga season on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Round as the first goalkeeper in Bundesliga history to keep a clean sheet in his first three league games. It was not until the 41th minute of his fourth Bundesliga match conceded by Borussia Mönchengladbach Dirk Krüssenberg Bernd Rupp on Matchday 6 of the season 1966/67, his first Bundesliga goal.

After he was staying with the Fortuna, Krüssenberg joined the 1967/68 season in the Regionalliga Süd for SpVgg Fürth. There he came to 27 Regional Appearances to June 1969.

National

1961 Krüssenberg played for the German national students. He participated on the side of Berti Vogts and Franz Beckenbauer at the UEFA youth tournament for Germany 1964.
