Dirk Schachtsiek

Dirk Schachtsiek (* November 4, 1965 ) is a German fist shooting. During his active time Dirk Schachtsiek was considered the best player of world fist and was voted " Europe Fist player of the century".

Sporting career

Batsman Schachtsiek won with the TSV Hagen 1860 in the active region 17 national titles: Between 1986 and 2001 he took ten German league title seven times in the field and the title of German champion in Halle fistball. In the halls of the European Cup Cup between 1989 and 2001 always went to Schachtsiek and his team. In addition to these twelve tracks they could get a further seven European Cup victories in the field. The era Schachtsiek and the Hagen domination ended in 2002 with the third overall World Cup victory.

At the international level achieved Schachtsiek numerous successes. Four times he was World Champion ( 1986,1990,1992,1995 ), as often as before, no other fist ball players. Dirk Schachtsieks wife Andrea played previously with Lüneburg in the national league Lower Saxony. The common Ole sons (born in 1996) and Jan (born in 1999) are now also for TSV 1860 Hagen on the fist ball field. Schachtsieks father Manfred Lux, editor of fistball information.
