Disappear is a song by girl group No Angels, and was the German contribution to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 was written the piece by Thomas Troelsen, Mikkel R. Sigvardt and Hanne Sørvaag. ; produced by Thomas Troelsen and Remee.
Background information
The song describes how a man leave and must deal with it. The piece was composed by Thomas Troelsen in 2005. A demo version of the song was included in the Delta Lab Recording Studios in Copenhagen. He was supported in this by Hanne Sørvaag who published their version of the song on MySpace on March 10, 2008. This demo version was the A & R manager Niklas Hafemann and No Angels played that song for the German preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 Who sings for Germany? selected. Finally, the piece 22 December 2007 was again included in the Gutleutstudios in Frankfurt am Main.
Music Video
The music video was made on 23 January 2008 in a castle in Potsdam. The German actor Oliver Mommsen appeared in the music video after he Diakovska Lucy and Jessica Wahls learned in the talk show The Tietjen and Dibaba. The video was shot and directed by Daniel Lwowski for catapult film.
The video begins with the protagonist 's car breaks down in his BMW 2000. He finds an empty villa and enters this, where he feels observed and is in search of the observers. These observers are four female ghost (played by No Angels ), who approach him. However, he can not see, but only feel them. As soon as he turns around, they are gone.
The world premiere of the video took place in the television broadcast of the channel VIVA VIVA Live on February 5, 2008. Later, the version has been reduced to three minutes in order to meet the guidelines of the Euro Vision Song Contest.
Preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest
In January 2008, the song for the German preliminary decision of 2008, which was transferred from the first and the NDR qualified. This show followed a total of 3.47 million viewers.
