Disciples of `Abdu'l-Bahá

As disciples of Abdul- Baha (English Heralds of the Covenant also called ) were of Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian of the Baha'i faith, a total of 19 Bahai referred from Western countries, which then 1930-1933 in the Bahai journal The Bahá'í World were published. The time of designation, since a majority of these disciples had already died, it is a title of honor for her pioneering work and outstanding figures of the Baha'i religion in the West. The number 19 refers to the sacred in Babism number 19 and stands in analogy to the equally honored by Shogi Effendi 19 Apostles of Baha'u'llah.

A selection of these leads Shogi Effendi as " heralds of the covenant of God" in his letter America and the Most Great Peace of 21 April 1933 on, saying: " Lua, Chase, MacNutt, Dealy, Goodall, Dodge, Farmer and Brittingham ".
