Disciplinary Commission of the Roman Curia
The Disciplinary Commission of the Roman Curia (Latin: Commissio per disciplina curiae Romanae, ita. Commissione Disciplinare della Curia Romana ) is a member of the Roman Curia for the determination of disciplinary sanctions for employees of Roman Curia. Pope John Paul II established the Committee on 5 October 1981.
Consisting of a chairman and six members, who are appointed by the Pope for five years, it determines disciplinary measures such as:
- Suspension from office,
- Exemption,
- Dismissal.
