Discovery Geschichte

Discovery story was a television station of the global Discovery Group which was broadcast as part of the program bouquets of Premiere via digital satellite and cable. First broadcast was on 31 March 2005, the station was set on 16 May 2009 and reverted to exist only as a window program DMAX.

The TV channel Discovery Group was focused on documentation from the Department of History. Were sent German and international productions about the history from antiquity to the present day as well as current affairs. The program was organized by the Discovery Communications Germany GmbH, based in Munich. Program co existed with mirror TV and the BBC.

The setting of Discovery History at Premiere led to the direct injection of the National Geographic Channel in the Premiere platform. In Switzerland Tele Club has the transmitter replaced by Romance TV.

The sister channel Animal Planet has also left premiere in early July 2009, when the Premiere AG set in its present form, and changed its name to Sky Germany AG.
