DivaÄa
Divača (Italian Divaccia, German Waatsche ) is a small municipality in the southwestern part of Slovenia - a few kilometers from the Italian border and the port city of Trieste. It has around 3,900 inhabitants. The municipality belongs to the district of Škocjan in which the caves are Skocijan.
In Divača, which is an important railway junction, the rail links from Venice -Trieste (old Southern Railway ) and Pula to Ljubljana- Vienna run together.
Worth seeing is the " Škratelj Hof" in Divača. The farmhouse was built in the 17th century houses a permanent exhibition about the famous actress Ita Rina.
