Divinópolis de Goiás

Divinópolis de Goiás is a Midwestern ( Região Central Oeste) lying municipality in the Brazilian state of Goiás in the mesoregion eastern Goiás and in the micro-region Vao do Paranã. It is located north-northwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and Goiânia northwest of the capital. The municipality is also the villages Mangabeiras, São Pedro, Porteira and Vazante.

Geographical location

Divinópolis de Goiás is located in the central Brazilian highlands to 620 meters and borders

  • From north to south in São Domingos
  • On the west by Monte Alegre de Goiás

Hydro Graphically drains the community about the springing in the municipality headwaters of Rio Manso and his right inflow Riacho Seco via the Rio Paranã in the Rio Tocantins basin.
