Dixcove
Dixcove is a small fishing village on the coast of Ghana, in the settlement area of the people of Ahanta in the Western Region, about 20 kilometers west of the city of Sekondi- Takoradi. On a hill on the outskirts of the village is erected by the British Fort Metal Cross.
The name Dixcove derived from the original English name " Dick's Cove ," meaning " Richards ' ( short form" Dick's " ) Bay ." How many places on the coast of Ghana has Dixcove addition to its official English name even one Akannamen: Mfuma.
