DJ Khaled
DJ Khaled (* November 26, 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana; Khaled Khaled real name ) is an American DJ and music producer from Miami, Florida, of Palestinian origin.
Career
Khaled began as a DJ at his college radio in Miami and then went to popular underground station Mixx 96 His success eventually helped him to a show at one of the major stations in Miami, 99 Jamz. In addition, he began to work as a music producer for many famous hip-hop musicians, especially for the members of Terror Squad.
The mid-2000s, he then decided to produce his own album and managed to enlist a number of household names thanks to his previous activities, such as Fat Joe, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Bone Thugs -N-Harmony, Twista, Akon and Styles P. " Listennn: the Album " was released in June 2006 and was able to put No. 1 on the independent charts. Also in the official top 200 sales charts, it was quite successful and with Holla at Me a Hot 100 hit could be extracted.
A year later came the second album We the Best, again with very prominent participation, including this time also TI, T -Pain, The Game, Plies and Jadakiss. With the We Takin 'Over pre-release Khaled and Co. first came under the single -top -40 and also the album surpassed the success of the debut. With the second album outcoupling I'm So Hood he made it to number 19 on the Hot 100 and in the top 10 R & B and rap charts.
DJ Khaled has since set with We the Best Music own label. His third album, We Global was published in September 2008, the prepublication Out Here Grindin ' rose in July 2008, again in the charts.
