DJ Premier

DJ Premier ( born March 21, 1966 in Houston, Texas; bourgeois Christopher Edward Martin), and Premo, is an American hip hop DJ and producer. He is considered one of the most influential and important producers of hip-hop of the American east coast.

Biography

After the unsuccessful attempt with his old group ICP to get a record deal, learned a native of Houston, Texas Premier (then known as Waxmaster C ) in 1988, the MC Guru on the common label Wild Pitch Records know. The two decided to move to Brooklyn and formed the successful hip- hop duo Gang Starr.
