DJ Rolando

DJ Rolando ( Rolando Ray Rocha actually ) is an American techno DJ and musician from Detroit.

Biography

Rocha grew between Latin American immigrants in the middle of Detroit. Later he listened to the mixes by Jeff Mills on the radio, then called "The wizard". He was introduced to Mike Banks Through a friend, who eventually makes him a member of Banks ' label and music project Underground Resistance.

"Condition red"

Under the pseudonym The Aztec Mystic Rocha 1999 came with the techno track jaguar on the label Underground Resistance breakthrough. The track was first an underground hit, but became a classic of the techno scene.

The Major Label Sony ( and BMG, which licensed the piece ) was interested in a publication of the track " Jaguar " in a big way. Underground Resistance rejected this out of conviction, but it seemed a cover including a video clip without consent. Worldwide subsequently flooded many mails from Underground Resistance sympathizers Sony -mail server, and laid him lame. The most famous DJs in the world supported the original ( red dt Alert ) in the so-called "Condition red". Sony pulled ultimately the European release sheepishly back, but published the " Jaguar " cover continues in South America.
