DJ Tonka
DJ Tonka (* June 24, 1973 in Mainz ), real name Thomas René Gerlach, is a house DJ, music producer and composer. He became known in 1998 reached through his summer hit She Knows You, the place 14 in the charts.
Work
The first publications Gerlach published in 1991, at that time, together with Ian Pooley under the project name T'N'I, Space Cube and Outrage or solo under the pseudonym Thomastic.
These first productions (from 1991 ) appeared on the Frankfurt underground label Force Inc. Music Works and Intense Records.
From 1997 to 2000 he ran the label Uplifting Records, 2000-2002 chiptunes and 2000-2004 Vivienne Records, primarily with their own releases. In addition to his own productions DJ Tonka can also show a considerable number of remixes.
In 2008 DJ Tonka relocated to Munich.
