DjangodOr

The European Jazz Prize Django d' Or ( officially written DjangodOr ) is since 1992 in France, awarded by the ANC ( Arts, Nuances, Cultures ), among others, in their governing Jacqueline Danno, Frank Hagège ( the latter with Babik Reinhardt founding members ), David Reinhardt ( Chairman) are. The award is named after Django Reinhardt. Today, generally up to seven awards in different categories will be awarded, selected by a jury. Corresponding prices are also available in Belgium (since 1995), Sweden ( since 1998), Italy ( since 1999), and Denmark ( since 2001).

The winners will receive a framed by Raymond Moretti trophy.

  • Musicien Confirmé ( Established musicians, at least 3 albums )
  • DjangodOr Frank Hagège ( for those who rendered outstanding services to the promotion of jazz),

  • Spectacle vivant SPEDIDAM ( for live performances )
  • Musique sans Frontiéres (musician with Balkan or Gypsy influence),
