Dodonovo

Dodonowo (Russian Додоново [ dɐdonəvə ], pronunciation? / I ) is a settlement ( possjolok ) in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) with 415 inhabitants. It lies on the right bank of the Yenisei.

Dodonowo was founded in 1949 in connection with the construction of the Nuclear plant in today's closed city Zheleznogorsk. At this point, a first provisional settlement for the first construction workers of the factory and the city as well as their families originated. Thus, the history of Zheleznogorsk begins in the settlement Dodonowo.

The settlement with an old and a new part belongs to the city district Zheleznogorsk. On one hand, the place possesses a modern infrastructure, on the other hand, are derived from the Soviet era economic institutions no longer in use and agricultural land barely managed.

Dodonowo is known as a village, where a number of dialects and languages ​​are mixed: there Central American dialects, due to the very different origins of the inhabitants of mixed Ukrainismen, Polonismen and Germanisms spoken.
